Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and caring Veterinary Technician! You will support our veterinarians and and fellow team members in provide outstanding care to our patients and clients. We constantly evolve our medicine as new treatments, diagnostics and medications become available. You will join an existing team of experienced credentialed veterinary technicians! Job Responsibilities: Complete patient check-ins and treatments Collect laboratory samples from patients and prepare them for testing Assist veterinarians with examinations and procedures Perform dental prophylaxis, take radiographs, assist in surgery Calculate drug dosages correctly and prepare prescriptions Treat every patient like they were your own Enter medical records in the Practice Management Software Provide excellent client service and education Qualifications and Skills: A proven track record of working as a veterinary technician Attention to detail Ability to multitask and take initiative Ability to work in stressful situations while making sound decisions Customer service skills Excellent prioritization and efficiency RVT, CVT, or LVT is required for this position (new graduates encouraged to apply!)
