Our hospital has eight exam rooms and is beautiful and spacious. We are an updated hospital with modern equipment, so you can do your job well. Additionally, we value our experienced support staff and have a high ratio of RVTs/assistants to DVMs. We also have a dedicated administrative assistant for each DVM/Tech pair.

Overview:
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team and help us provide excellent experiences for our clients and their pets. By joining our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 professionals, a continuing education allowance, and various learning and development programs to support you in achieving your career goals.
Our ideal candidate has extensive dental experience as we do a lot of dental procedures!

PAY RANGE OF $28-32 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:

POSITION SKILLS:

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
• Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
• Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology
