Located in Brantford, Ontario, Windrush Veterinary Services is a warm, collaborative, and client-focused veterinary clinic committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality medical care, build strong client relationships, and ensure the comfort and well-being of every patient.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation with the OAVT in good standing.
  • Previous clinical experience as an RVT preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for animal health and client service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care including anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, dental prophylaxis, and recovery care.
  • Obtain and record patient histories, perform diagnostic sample collection (blood, urine, feces), and prepare samples for lab analysis.
  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare, nutrition, post-operative care, and medication administration.
  • Calculate drug dosages and ensure DVM double-checking procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and drug logs, including controlled substances.
  • Assist in maintaining clinic equipment, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and supporting overall hospital organization.
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and clinic improvement initiatives.
  • Support a collaborative, respectful, and positive work environment that aligns with our clinic philosophy.
  • Cover the front desk when necessary, including during staff breaks and vacations, ensuring a seamless client experience.
