Provides high quality patient care using an evidence based, cost effective approach    Effectively manages all in-patients referred with infections and liaises closely with consultant staff  Participates in the Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic   Participates in haematology ward rounds  All referrals are assessed promptly  In-patients and referrals are reviewed at least daily   Manages patient consult database  Completes all patient related documentation according to the centre’s policies/procedures  All complex cases receive appropriate follow up  Liaises and communicates with the multidisciplinary treating team   Contributes to team meetings and educational activities  Actively and regularly participates in peer review patient related activities   Participates in departmental research projects and audits  Works effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to optimise patient care and discharge planning    2. Implements best practice for antibiotic use/guidelines/infection control    Participates in internal and external educational programs  Actively participates in the Infection Control Service including attendance at meetings  Assists with implementation and delivery of antibiotic stewardship practices    3.
