QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Knowledge of medical technology helpful
• Good typing and computer skills a must

Preferred:

• Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred
• High School Diploma preferred
• At least 1 year experience preferred

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

• Shift- 7:00pm 8:00am
• Monday Friday with every other weekend and holidays
• Full Time

• Experience in a hospital patient registration setting, doctors office, handling patients scheduling, obtaining pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals or patient services environment strongly preferred;
• Previous experience in a census management, assigning beds, position
• Previous experience in a patient services environment billing/collections-must have a working knowledge of more than one provider such as Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs and others
• Experience in completing medical assistance application, family care, PEs, PAICs or charity care, helpful
• Experience in a customer service related environment preferred
• Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and communicate with persons of varying acuities
• Must be able to work with the public and maintain poise under difficult situations at all times
