Position Title: Registration and Results Coordinator
Location: Hybrid (Cold Lake & Bonnyville, Alberta)
Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time
Term: Immediate start – February 28, 2026
Hours: 20–25 hours/week (increasing to 35–40 hours/week in January 2026)
Travel: Required between Cold Lake and Bonnyville offices (Mileage reimbursed)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lakeland Region 2026 Alberta Winter Games is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Registration and Results Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of all registration, accreditation, and competition results processes. This temporary, part-time hybrid role will be based in Cold Lake and Bonnyville, Alberta, starting immediately and continuing through February 28, 2026. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the registration of athletes and volunteers, oversee the planning and setup of accreditation systems and locations, and design and support the results process flow for the Games. With an average of 20–25 hours per week, ramping up to 35–40 hours in the final month before the Games, the position requires regular travel between both host communities. A flexible schedule makes this role ideal for someone who can work independently, manage complex workflows, and perform under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in registration systems, accreditation processes, or event operations.
  • Strong administrative and project coordination skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Technically proficient in spreadsheet tools, databases, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stay composed under pressure.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Prior experience with multi-sport games or large-scale events is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
