Event Registration Coordinator
We are looking for an Event Registration Coordinator to join the Registration Team at FUSION Performance Group. At FUSION, our vision is to be the industry’s most trusted, strategic third-party event company known for our out-of-the-box solutions, transparency, and passion for creating defining moments. Our Registration Team strives to be the very best in sharing and collecting information for programs and events through the creation and management of event registration websites and other communication channels.
The Event Registration Coordinator will be responsible for overall support of registration programs from start to finish for a wide range of clients and event types, both in person and virtually, for 5-1500 people which requires quick adaptation and proficiency in event management tools, excellent communication and prioritization skills, and the ability to be curious, accountable, and productive independently, without constant supervision.
The role will require travel, including international, approximately 1 week per month and 2-7 days at a time (some months have no travel and other months have more).

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 2+ years experience building websites in Cvent Event Management platform
  • 2+ years experience working in events
  • Required to obtain Cvent Event Management and Cvent Onsite Solutions Certifications in your first year
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Outlook and Excel
  • Technologically savvy, ability to adapt quickly to new tools
  • Resourceful and proactive to learn and solve problems quickly
  • Independetly accountable and productive without constant supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once
  • Detail-oriented, takes time to thouroughly understand by reading carefully and asking questions, then implementing with care and precision
  • Well-organized and able to adhere to strategic policies set by FUSION or the client
  • Able to remain composed and efficient and ask for help in times of high volume or stress
  • Works well within a team that is fully remote
  • Experience with Monday.com, Canva, Slack, Teams, Zoom, Webex are a plus
  • Experience writing copy or with graphic design are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Create simple to complex registration websites utilizing Cvent and other technology – emails, web pages, registration, Attendee Hub website and app, webinars and virtual events through Zoom and Webex integrations, OnArrival badge designer/badge printing/onsite check-in, Venue Sourcing, Access Portal, various Cvent integrations, and more!
  • Manage attendee travel (flight, hotel, and ground transportation) by supporting the booking process and communicating updates throughout the planning and event execution.
  • Host virtual events and lead onsite registration/attendee check-in.
  • Create and sustain reporting and data summaries for internal and external use.
  • Assist with ordering, shipping, and tracking of gifts and event equipment.
  • Process high volumes of inbound communications through various channels including emails, Slack messages, Monday.com updates, Zoom/Teams meetings, phone calls, etc.
  • Maximize productivity, manage work queues and track progress of project tasks.
  • Establish relationships with clients, attendees, and suppliers by communicating with professionalism, expertise, trustworthiness, and timeliness.
  • Advise clients on registration best practices, processes, and procedures to maximize the registration and event experience of the attendees.
  • Demonstrate effective questioning/listening skills to understand and deliver on objectives.
  • Think strategically about new and inventive ways of servicing our clients and improving internal processes.
  • Represent FUSION in a professional and ethical manner, adhering to company policy, standards, procedures, and values.
