FURTHER INFORMATION
We are looking for someone to join the team at Peterborough Register Office as a Registration
Support Officer working four days a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.
You will be the first point of contact with the public when on reception, organising and appearing
at citizenship ceremonies, and delving into our archives to produce historical certificates.
You’ll also be ushering and registering at marriages and civil partnerships, so will need to be
confident in front of an audience. In addition to this, you’ll be involved in a range of other
administration work underpinning our service.
Excellent administration and people skills are vital, and you will need to show calmness and tact
in emotional and confidential situations. You’ll be working both individually and as part of a team,
with the role varying from one day to the next.
This is a demanding position in a busy office, but if you think you have the experience and
enthusiasm to deliver it, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note:
