It’s an exciting time to be joining Student, Course & Schools Administration in this fast-growing area. An opportunity has now arisen for a skilled, motivated and experienced administrator to join Buckinghamshire New University as a Registry Administrator to support Health & Social Care Profession programmes and Partner programmes.
You must be organised, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise workloads as appropriate and be able to operate under pressure in a fast-moving and changing environment.
As a first point of contact for staff, students and visitors you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with enquiries in person, by telephone and by email. You will have a good standard of education, excellent organisational skills, be used to working to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and be able to work within existing administrative procedures. You will be able to demonstrate good IT skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word Excel & Outlook). You will need to be self-motivated, and also be able to work as part of a team. Good administrative experience is essential, and a positive and flexible outlook would be an advantage. Job Purpose: The postholder is responsible for providing administrative support for the University’s student and academic administration processes in relation to the student experience and the delivery of programmes.
The post holder will be required to be proactive and flexible in delivering support to partners, academics and students and be able to operate under pressure.
The purpose of the job description is to indicate the general level of responsibility: the duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character or level of responsibility.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
To assist with the Board of Examiners as required.
