Description

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regs Assembler Casing Team B - 3rd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Responsible for performing the final assembly operations of electricity regulators according to prescribed standard methods and procedures. Job Responsibilities Perform tasks across various work centers, including covers, pumps, basic assembly, single-pot assembly, two-pot assembly, all tap changer. Build the product per work instructions and quality standards that are required in the assembly with use of calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.). Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time. Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot any potential problems found in order to complete ratio test. Move units by use of overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles. Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective or require other needed changes. Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments. Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process. Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals. Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures. Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
