Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical histories. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures to ensure all necessary instruments are ready. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Coordinate patient appointments and manage communications efficiently within the office. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices. Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies. High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical setting. Familiarity with medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly while maintaining patient confidentiality. Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software applications.
