Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) is a patient-centred primary care hospital that has been established in Alexandria, Ontario for 60 years. HGMH provides acute care, 24-hour emergency services, outpatient services and rehabilitation to over 41,000 residents every year. REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current certificate in ACLS and BCLS (HCP), CTAS
• Current certificate in ENPC, TNCC, preferre
• 2-5 years experience in an acute medicine setting required
• Must be willing to take any other course relevant to the area of practice
• Excellent attendance record.
• Bilingualism preferred – English (spoken and written)/French (spoken) – to be tested
• Proof of double COVID vaccination required prior to interview.

Required to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions while collaborating with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Responsible to monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ condition and in turn, administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
