Immediate opening for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to start ASAP for a fantastic 3-month contract assignment with a strong possibility of a Full-Time offer of employment!
Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician
Job Type: 3-month Full-Time Contract
Contract Duration: Monday, August 12th 2024 until Thursday, October 31st 2024.
System: Kroll
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 40-hrs/week
Our Client’s Pharmacy located here in the Richmond is looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician that takes pride in their job as they work in a specialty pharmacy dedicated to providing medicine to Specialty clinics and local hospitals. This specialty pharmacy is a NON-retail, closed setting pharmacy. In the pharmacy, you will not be physically interacting with the general public; rather you would be focusing mainly on checking prescriptions and counselling patients when needed. The Software used at this pharmacy is Kroll!!
The basket of medications encountered here would larger basket of drugs uncommon to retail pharmacy such as Biologic and specialty medication. So, we need you to bring your best. This position would be for an ongoing monthly to month contract.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: ASAP end of November 2024!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Type: 6-month Full-Time Contract
Responsibilities include:
Adhering to safety practices in order to ensure quality care for patients
Provide customer service by answering phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
Maintaining medical profiles
Check for expiration dates on medications on a regular basis
Candidate Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
Must be proficient with Kroll to operate independently
Individual must be highly motivated, personable, knowledgeable, and possess Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Organizational Skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Compensation:
$35 - $37Hour
