Are you looking for meaningful, challenging work that directly contributes to public safety? Do you want to work flexibly in a national team that values development, collaboration and integrity? Becoming a Regulatory Advisor in Ahpra’s Notifications team could be your next career move.
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to regulate over 800,000 registered health practitioners across Australia.
As a Regulatory Advisor, you’ll be part of a national team responsible for reviewing and managing concerns (known as notifications) raised about registered health practitioners. These notifications relate to a practitioner’s conduct, performance, or health, and your work will focus on assessing risk and helping determine what regulatory action is needed to protect the public.
You’ll manage cases independently while collaborating closely with others, including subject matter experts, legal advisors, and Board members. The role involves problem-solving, navigating complex and sensitive issues, and communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
AHPRA ACKNOWLEDGES THE TRADITIONAL OWNERS OF COUNTRY THROUGHOUT AUSTRALIA AND THE CONTINUING CONNECTION TO LANDS, WATERS AND COMMUNITIES. WE PAY OUR RESPECTS TO ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER CULTURES AND ELDERS PAST, PRESENT AND EMERGING.
