Apply now!   Learn more: jti.com    Department: Corporate Affairs & Communication Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia  Reporting to: Corporate Affairs & Communication Director Role: Permanent   Regulatory Affairs & Communications Manager   This position supports the Corporate Affairs and Communications Director in anticipating and influencing developments in Cambodia's operating environment. The role's objective is to minimize commercial risks, maximize competitive opportunities, and uphold JTI's corporate positions. Through effective regulatory advocacy, external engagement, and communication strategies, the role ensures alignment with JTI's global guidelines while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.   As the Regulatory Affairs & Comms Manager, you will:  Regulatory Monitoring and Analysis Monitor and anticipate developments in tobacco control regulations, taxation policies, illicit trade measures, and international frameworks (e.g., FCTC) Assess impact on the Cambodian market and provide timely insights to the CA&C team to ensure proactive response. Management of Tobacco Control Legislation, Taxation, and Anti-Illicit Trade (AIT) Support and implement CA&C strategies to influence the external environment.Advocate for reasonable and feasible regulatory solutions that align with business needs Develop and maintain up-to-date stakeholder maps for political and regulatory environments.Engage proactively with government officials, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to present JTI's positions and solutions Build and sustain effective working relationships to influence policy within full legal compliance Internal and External Communications Support internal and external communication efforts, including corporate philanthropy projects Execute strategies to enhance JTI's corporate reputation and public relations through media monitoring, coverage, and issue management Cross-functional Corporate Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, and Legal) to recommend solutions and ensure compliance with domestic regulatory requirements.   Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Relations, Media, or a related field At least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in multinational FMCG Experience in the tobacco industry or public affairs consultancy is an advantage Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and industry trends Established network within the government is beneficial Fluent in English and Khmer with strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Sound understanding of issues affecting the tobacco industry and JTI’s corporate positions.   Are you ready to join us?
