As a purpose-led, performance-driven organisation, Blackmores Group strives to create remarkable employee experiences through supporting a diverse and inclusive culture, creating leadership that inspires high performance, and providing everyone with opportunities to achieve their professional, personal and wellbeing goals supported by our flexible work practices and family friendly policies Purpose of role: The Regulatory Affairs Manager is a key resource responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance for Blackmores’ CBEC and China CMO products, while also supporting stakeholder lobbying and engagement initiatives Responsibilities include: Manage day-to-day regulatory activities to ensure product compliance, including but not limited to NPD regulatory assessment, labelling and advertising review, claims compliance, product registration and recording filing, and post-marketing activities. Provide regulatory support and expertise to the cross-functional teams, such as product development, marketing, quality, and supply chain, and drive regulatory leadership with the applicable regulations and standards throughout the product lifecycle. Follow regulatory development in China to identify/anticipate regulatory opportunity & risk, assess business impact, and determine an appropriate response. Provide updates and maintain a database of regulatory requirements. Support China regulatory capabilities development. Continuously analyze regulatory capability gap, translate regulatory insight into business strategy, streamline China RA processes, facilitate regulatory training, etc. Cultivate and maintain relationships with CN&AU government officials, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, for promoting Blackmores’ reputation and protecting the company’s business interests. Execute government lobbying and engagement programmes (CIIE, trade events, etc.) and facilitate senior executives’ attendance. Who are you? Bachelor or Master degree with major in food science, chemistry, biology or scientific area related. Min of 8 years working experience in regulatory affairs from food / health food companies; previous job must be in China regulatory affairs at a food company. Language skills & proficiency: good writing and reading of technical documents in English. Good skills for oral English. Must be collaborative, motivated and adaptable. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and financials to drive strategic decisions. Competitor analysis proficiency. Thrives in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment. Results-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
