Description

For our office in Amstelveen, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Regulatory Affairs Specialist.
Daesang Europe B.V. is the European sale office of Daesang Corp. in S. Korea (head quarter). Daesang is a well-known company in S. Korea and producing feed & food ingredients and consumer food products. In Amstelveen we are a team of 25 people.

Responsibilities
  • Handling and managing all kinds of quality documents for internal use within the company and external use for our customers, i.e., certificate of ingredients and analyses, product specification sheet, etc.
  • Organizing and managing all kinds of documents related with Quality assurance for the company. (including “Certificate of Ingredients” and “Certificate of Analysis”).
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (lawyers, certifying bodies, food safety authorities) to resolve customer issues and pending new product developments.
  • Be the point of contact for inquiries regarding food quality and safety.
  • Handling external analyses for the requested products and/or samples thorough external laboratories.
  • Conducting risk assessments in cases of discrepancy with our quality standards.
  • Organizing and managing all kinds of documents related with Quality assurance for compliance with legal policies and standards.
  • Reviewing proper food labelling information according to relevant regulations.
  • In charge of renewed product packaging design in terms of Quality Assurance.
  • Providing essential advice for R&D team in our headquarter to deliver compliant formulation for sales in the EU market.
  • Keeping all internal stakeholders updated with the recent changes and general knowledges about pertinent regulations (quality, supply chain, packaging, etc.) to safeguard the future of our business.
  • Identifying key opportunities and challenges to develop new food products with regards to all relevant regulations.
  • Making and handling documents required from customers to audit and quality assurance activities including Product Specifications.
  • Take care of customer complaints with HQ
