What you’ll do: As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for Nature’s Bakery, you will be responsible for all aspects of ingredient on-boarding, regulatory documentation, regulatory compliance review, and 3rd party certification (submissions and managing approvals). You may also play a role in product label reviews and creating sales support documentation. Key Responsibilities: Support the Ingredient On-boarding process and ensure TraceGains regulatory documentation is complete. Review ingredient supplier documentation to ensure ingredient compliance with regulatory standards and brand guardrails. Coordinate with 3rd party certification groups & suppliers to ensure that all documentation (ingredients and products) is complete and compliant with certification standards. Manage the product and label submission process with 3rd party certification agencies for on-pack- claim substantiation. Manage and ensure compliance with all 3rd party annual product audits and support QA with facility audits. Create legal text documents, participate in label review, generate product specification sheets, and customer regulatory documentation. You have: 3-5 years of experience in food sector regulatory affairs. Expertise in US food regulations pertaining to the sourcing, manufacturing, labeling and marketing of food. Experience with non-GMO Project Verified Certification or other 3rd Party Certification preferable. Organized project management and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage time wisely, handling multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment. Able to execute assignments independently.
