The Regulatory team, within the Bank Network Management group, is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the Sub-Custodian and Client Money relationships, ensuring there are robust controls and procedures to place to deliver Global Regulatory Compliance. This includes ensuring compliance with, but not limited to: SEC, OCC, CFTC, FCA CASS 6, 7 & 10, MiFID, CBI CAR, AIFMD, MAS, SFC, Dodd Frank, GDPR regulations. Oversight of No Lien letters for Bank Sub-custodians Trust Letters for Client Money/Funds accounts (acknowledgement/funds facilities letter) Verification that accounts are correctly named at the Sub Custodian to reflect the Client status Ensure sub-custody agreements and other legal documents in place are fit for purpose Control Testing: Perform sample control reviews of regulatory processes Coordinate responses for both Internal and External Audit exams globally Close coordination with many areas of the Firm is required (CASS Office, Compliance, Regulatory and Control, Operations, Treasury Operations, Legal, Prime Finance, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Markets) and contact with Banks, Auditors, and Regulators Other aspects of the role will include responsibility for oversight of all Regulatory documentation and information maintained within the organization in relation to the Agents Banks covered, ensuring a robust integrity of data and control environment Manage Regulatory Global initiatives outside of the region Coordinate regulatory reporting and monitoring tasks; Serve as a deputy to the Supervisor Due Diligence: Coordinate the annual program, monitor progress, and ensure delays are escalated timely to meet regulatory requirements; Collaborate with Global Custody, SNMs and CBROs to identify similarities & streamline processes/controls CASS Champion: as an FCA regulatory expert, provide guidance to the Relationship and Regulatory teams; monitor FCA Acknowledgement letter population to ensure compliance with prescribed regulations; hold regular refresher trainings for BNM staff (ranging from officers to SVPs) on regulatory processes Experience with managing relationships, documentation & the corresponding regulatory obligations Then apply to discover the true extent of your capabilities!
