Regulatory & Trade Intern (graduate) – 6 month fixed term contract

about this role
Ornua is offering a 6-month internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated graduate to join our Regulatory and Trade Compliance team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in horizon scanning, navigating complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring regulatory compliance across a range of areas from food law and product labelling to trade.
The incumbent will work under the supervision and guidance of the Regulatory and Trade Compliance team and gain insights into corporate regulatory and trade compliance. On completion (s)he will have:
Gained an understanding of regulatory and trade compliance processes and practices
Developed research and analytical skills applicable to a broad range of industries
Enhanced their communication and collaboration skills
Built a strong foundation for a future career in compliance, law and business
KEY REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:

OTHER DESIRED REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Currently pursuing a third level primary degree in Law, Business, Food Science, International Relations, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated research and analytical abilities (e.g. through coursework, projects, or extracurriculars).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, SharePoint).
Interest in regulatory affairs, trade policy, or food law.
