The regulatory team is looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer with an excellent understanding of local Regulatory and Product compliance requirements for ICT Products, who has good problem-solving and communication skills, a track record of demonstrating operational excellence and good project management skills. DESCRIPTION - Bridging regulatory requirements with Apple's security certification portfolio - Working with regulators, internal teams, and certification bodies to ensure alignment between Apple's security capabilities and regulatory compliance standards - Subject matter expert in translating regulatory frameworks into actionable certification strategies MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's in Computer Science/ Electrical/Electronic/Communications or equivalent. 3 to 8 years of experience in Product testing and certification in the field of device security. Deep understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), applications and their security features Experience with security tools for vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and endpoint security. Ability to read and understand source code. Ability to develop scripts using languages like Python, familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, etc. Strong understanding of security concepts, architecture, across the entire device technology stack- Hardware, Firmware, OS and Applications Knowledge of Wireless technologies, including Cellular standards and spectrum Experience of working with Testing labs and regulatory/Certification authorities. Project management skills- Knowledge of Timelines, Budgets, Risks, Stakeholder mapping, etc. Regulatory advocacy with external regulators and industry bodies Familiarity with cryptography, secure communication protocols (TLS/SSL), certificate pinning, and secure data storage. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's in Computer Science/ Electrical/Electronic/Communications, or equivalent. Experience in working with consumer electronics/telecom products/devices for regulatory and certification requirements. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal. Deep understanding of OWASP, SAN, CIS checklists, Common Criteria, and NIST FIPS requirements Strong knowledge of device OS security architecture, sandboxing and keychain Industry certification in the area of product security, like Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP), or other mobile-specific security certifications. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across geographies
