Lead Regulatory Compliance, Product Stewardship & Classification Across Europe

Are you an experienced Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Product Stewardship professional looking for a role with greater influence ?

If you have strong experience of REACH and CLP legislation within the chemical manufacturing sector, this is an opportunity to become the European regulatory expert for a global manufacturer, helping shape regulatory strategy, support new product development and influence key business decisions.

Reporting to the US Director of Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability, you'll work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Sustainability, ensuring regulatory compliance supports innovation and business growth across Europe.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead Regulatory Compliance and Product Stewardship across European markets.
  • Ensure compliance with REACH, CLP and wider UK & EU chemical legislation.
  • Provide regulatory guidance throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Monitor legislative changes and translate regulatory requirements into practical commercial solutions.
  • Partner with R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Sustainability teams on new and existing products.
  • Represent the business with industry associations and regulatory bodies.
  • Help build and develop the UK & European Regulatory Compliance function.

About You

We're keen to hear from professionals working in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Compliance, Product Stewardship or Classification Labelling & Packaging within the chemical manufacturing sector.

Your current title could be:

  • Regulatory Compliance Manager
  • Regulatory Affairs Manager
  • Product Stewardship Manager
  • Chemical Compliance Manager
  • Technical Compliance Manager
  • Senior Regulatory Specialist

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience applying REACH and CLP regulations within the chemical industry.
  • Experience interpreting UK and EU chemical legislation in a commercial manufacturing environment.
  • A scientific degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and Packaging & Packaging Waste legislation would be advantageous, but is not essential.

What's On Offer

  • £65,000 - £80,000 depending on experience.
  • Benefits package.
  • A strategic role with genuine influence across the European business.
  • International exposure within a global organisation.
  • The opportunity to shape and grow the UK European Regulatory Compliance function.
  • Long-term career development with an innovative and well-established manufacturer.

If you're looking for a role where you'll influence business decisions rather than simply maintain compliance, we'd love to hear from you.
