Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–4 years of experience with clinical terminology, acute care processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with Internet and Intranet resources.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5–7 years of hospital experience in a clinical or administrative role, specifically working with policies, procedures, accreditation, or regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and CMS Conditions of Participation.
    Job Types: Full-time, Contract
    Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Publish approved departmental documents in the Policy Manager (PM) system.
  • Ensure clinical documents are properly aliased in PM.
  • Assign appropriate document classifications in PM.
  • Send follow-up emails for overdue documents, verifying that the assigned task owner is still the correct contact in PM.
  • Apply our organization’s templating standards to documents and set up approval processes in PM.
  • Review approval groups in MCN, including assigning members to incomplete groups, monitoring users affected by LDAP sync issues, and consolidating duplicate groups.
  • Audit and remove outdated or unused templates.
  • Assist with forms management as needed.
