The Regulatory/Murex Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring implementation of key financial regulations including MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank etc.. The role involves analyzing regulatory requirements, assess vendors on their reporting solutions, reviewing technical and functional design ,validate the solution and liaise with different teams for successful implementation of regulatory reporting. In addition to regulatory solution related responsibilities, BA will also be acting as Murex business analyst TASKS Analyze and document user requirements related to MiFID, EMIR, and SFTR regulations and translate them into functional specifications Act as key liaison with Global Markets teams (business and their supporting functions), IT teams as well as with the vendors Lead vendor RFP from a technology perspective and assess vendor solutions Participate actively in discussions with business stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into regulatory compliance initiatives In addition to regulatory requirements, candidate is expected to work on non regulatory aspects as Murex front office Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed Configuration of the solution as per requirements wherever applicable Creation of test plan, test cases, execution of system testing Contribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs/issues Ensure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the relevant teams Assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artefacts when required. JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of experience as Regulatory Business Analyst with a focus on MiFID, EMIR, and SFTR regulations In addition to regulatory, candidate is expected to have Murex knowledge as well to support Murex related front office developments, Expertise in multiple asset classes (atleast 2 of the following) such as FXMM, Security financing, IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives , FX Derivatives, etc. Strong exposure to FO Modules of Murex - E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, , Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices etc. Experience in implementation and supporting Murex v3.1 with regards to front office capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with excellent communication QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration. The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5-7 years. Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills Strong understanding of the regulations (Mifid, SFTR, EMIR, Dodd Frank etc,) Strong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices, front-to-end: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management, accounting generation, settlements and confirmation generation Candidate must be technically astute and have had relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information. Strong numerical skills coupled with the ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlines. Candidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.
