POSITION SUMMARY: Supports the Quality/Regulatory department by ensuring company compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of a chemical manufacturing company.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 2 years regulatory or equivalent experience within the chemical
manufacturing industry, Flavor & Fragrance industry a plus.
Scientific knowledge must be able to digest complex data while keeping the big picture through good analytical skills.
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate and advocate.
Proactive, high performance, result oriented and manage projects with ethical integrity.
Technical system skills (e.g. MS office applications, databases, efficient online
research)
Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary.
Demonstrate both creative and critical thinking skills.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must have good math, reading, writing skills, and have the ability to tactfully
communicate with customers and employees of all levels of the company.
Good interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalities.
Work safety and proactively to ensure a safe work environment.

Write, analyze, and edit technical documents to support country- specific regulatory submissions and compile submissions in a format consistent with applicable guidance documents, Work with other departments and communicate the submission requirements when documents are needed for regulatory submission.
Maintain regulatory files. Maintain and update regulatory documents, such as IFRA
Statements, Allergen documents, and various Right to Know information and customer specific documents.
Assist in preparing response to regulatory authorities’ questions within assigned
timelines.
Stay abreast of regulatory procedures and changes in regulatory climate.
Review and create GHS (Globally Harmonized Systems) product labels.
Support external regulatory agency audits, providing regulatory input to minimize
potential for findings of non-compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
