      He angitūtanga: The opportunity  Auckland Council’s North West Auckland Regulatory Support Team is looking for a new team member to join their dynamic and supportive team.   You’ll have the opportunity to use your solid organisational skills to provide efficient administration support to our various stakeholders, key accounts and qualified partners. Ensuring the smooth running of our Auckland Council’s Licensing and Compliance service delivery process.   Day-to-day you could expect to work on:   Processing applications and requests to ensure all databases/systems are accurately maintained and up to date. Ensuring all key processes are followed to facilitate registration, licensing of applications, and financial tasks such as invoicing are carried out correctly. Working with various stakeholders, key accounts and qualified partners to deliver high end customer service.   This includes written communication and phone calls while maintaining a high level of service to internal and external customers through various platforms.   Please click HERE for a copy of the Position Description     He kōrero mōu: About you Ideally, you will have experience in a regulatory environment but more so your outstanding ability to handle high volumes and passion for learning a variety of roles that fall within this team.  You will be a top-notch administrator who is system savvy, competent in the use of MS Office applications, and can easily adapt to new systems.  You will have worked within a busy professional environment and easily build excellent working relationships.  Your proactive nature along with your great attention to detail will make you perfect for this role.   We will be looking for:   At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative and customer service role is desired, preferably in a regulatory environment Customer focused attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven time management skills with an ability to manage a diverse range of tasks and processes Attention to detail and high standard of accuracy       Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer Licensing and Compliance provides compliance services for the directorate, administering the rules and bylaws that promote public health and protect Aucklanders from nuisance and harm, to ensure Auckland is a safe and healthy city, a great place to live, work, and play, with an outstanding environment for now and future generations. It is the largest local government compliance operation in Australasia and deals with a substantial proportion of the requests for service received by the Council.
