JOB TITLE: REHABILITATION AIDE Location: Riviera Health Resort – Miami, FL Position Type: Full‑Time Schedule: Monday through Friday JOB SUMMARY Riviera Health Resort is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to support residents receiving skilled therapy services. This role focuses on providing supplemental exercise opportunities and assisting licensed therapy staff in promoting resident mobility, safety, and functional independence. The Rehabilitation Aide plays an essential role in enhancing the rehabilitation experience for our geriatric residents. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide supplemental therapeutic exercise activities to residents receiving skilled physical, occupational, or speech therapy services, as directed by licensed therapists. * Safely assist geriatric residents with standing, walking, and basic mobility exercises while following facility safety protocols. * Monitor residents during exercise and mobility activities and report any changes in condition to the therapy team. * Assist with preparation and cleanup of rehabilitation areas and equipment. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment. * Accurately document daily activity and progress notes in English according to facility and regulatory standards. * Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. * Follow all Riviera Health Resort policies, HIPAA guidelines, and infection control procedures. QUALIFICATIONS * Certified Nursing Assistants are preferred. * Previous experience working with geriatric or rehabilitation populations preferred. * Ability to safely assist residents while perform standing and walking exercises, including proper body mechanics. * Ability to read, write, and document clearly in English. * Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient‑centered approach. * Ability to follow instructions from licensed therapy professionals. * Dependable, punctual, and able to work a consistent Monday through Friday full‑time schedule. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents with mobility activities throughout the workday. * Ability to safely support residents during transfers and ambulation as needed.
