Description Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for a full-time Rehab Patient Services Receptionist! Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 with a philosophy of treating patients as you would want to be treated. The practice has remained as the premier orthopedic provider of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bones, joints, and muscle injuries and conditions. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This individual is responsible for greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling, rescheduling & confirming appointments as necessary. Also responsible for registering new patients into practice management system, entering insurance information, checking patients in via practice management system, scanning and uploading documents into patients charts, collecting patients co-payment and/or account balance, and ensuring proper communication between patients, clinical teams, and therapists. Requirements HOURS/TRAVEL: Full-Time ~ 40 hours per week **Travel to all four locations will be required** Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove. This position is fully on-site. SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday - Thursday: Shifts will vary from 6:45am - 8:00pm Friday: Shifts will vary from 6:45am - 5:00pm Saturday: 6:45am - 12:00pm DUTIES LISTED BELOW: Check patients in/out Rooming patients Scan documents Collecting co-pays and remainder balances on accounts Verifying insurances REQUIREMENTS: Customer Service Strong Computer Background Electronic Medical Records (EHR)
