Description **THIS POST IS FOR OUR NEW PALATINE REHAB LOCATION (COMING SOON)!** Rehab Patient Services Receptionist / Rehab Tech Hybrid Role Palatine, Illinois Since 1980, Barrington Orthopedic Specialists' physicians have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists Rehabilitation Department offers comprehensive outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services, occupational therapy/hand therapy services, and several specialized wellness programs at all 4 of our facilities. Our Industrial Rehabilitation Program specializes in returning the injured worker back to the workplace and is located at our Schaumburg office. Scheduled Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday: Hours will range from 7:00am - 7:00pm Rehab Patient Services: 50% Duties: Check patients in/out Rooming Scheduling patient appointments Scan documents Collecting co-pays and remainder balances on accounts Verifying insurances Scheduled Hours Rehab Tech: 50% Duties: Patient care Escorting patients back to treatment area; apply modalities and exercises under the direct supervision of a clinician Clean treatment tables, and be responsible to keep treatment areas clean and free from obstacles.
