Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Location: AdventHealth Fish Memorial The community you’ll be caring for : 1055 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, 32763 The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for supervising rehabilitation therapy services to ensure compliance with general clinical standards and requirements. This position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. This role oversees the implementation of therapy protocols and procedures. In addition, this position ensures that all therapy services are delivered effectively and efficiently. The value you’ll bring to the team: · Serves as a clinical resource for physicians, patients, and staff, escalating issues to management as appropriate. · Determines schedules for licensed and unlicensed staff to best meet patient needs and perform schedule consolidation daily. · As required, assists with patient care within scope of practice, following the specific duties and responsibilities outlined for PT, OT, and SLP staff · Contributes to and participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives. · Other duties as assigned. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Required qualifications: Master’s Degree in rehabilitation related discipline (occupational therapy or speech language pathology) required 1 year of work experience Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license Required Preferred qualifications: · Doctorate in rehabilitation related discipline (occupational therapy or speech language pathology) preferred · Leadership experience preferred
