QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have successfully completed the two-year Therapy Assistant program at a

recognized school.

• CPR and First Aid is an asset.
• COVID-19 vaccination recommended.
• At least one year of experience in a related setting is preferred.
• Show genuine interest in patient care and rehabilitation of people with physical and/or

mental challenges.

• Willing to learn skills on the job.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with staff, residents,

patients and their families.

• Be a strong team player who conducts herself/himself in a professional and ethical

manner.

• Ability to adhere to Lamont Health Care Centre’s Mission and Philosophy.
