JOB OPPORTUNITY: RECEPTIONIST

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, interact with patients, handle communications, and support administrative tasks to ensure a seamless patient journey. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing phone and email inquiries, scheduling appointments, processing payments, handling insurance billing, and maintaining accurate records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Organizational & Decision-Making Skills:
  • Excellent organizational abilities, managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills, able to assess situations and implement solutions quickly.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving:
  • Calm under pressure, with the flexibility to adjust to changing clinic needs.
  • A proactive self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with clinic management software and insurance billing (Jane App and Outlook experience is a plus).
  • Strong computer skills.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 1 year of receptionist experience (required).
  • Previous clinic experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction:
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
  • Assist patients with intake forms and registration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communication & Scheduling:
  • Answer inbound telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate and manage patient appointments using our electronic medical records system.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Process payments at the time of service and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Handle clinic billing, direct insurance billing, and manage accounts receivable.
  • Perform daily laundry and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities to promote additional clinic services or products that enhance patient care.
