About this role | Mō tenei tūranga mahi The Rehabilitation Advisor is a key member of the Hāpai development team. The role involves leading and advising on various aspects of the Hāpai implementation, such as stakeholder engagement, risk management, performance measurement, resource development, and cultural capability. The role also supports the improvement of needs-based health and injury outcomes Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Motuhake Sound knowledge of te reo and tikanga with a thorough grasp of cultural systems, with the ability to apply these in service design and delivery. Excellent teamwork skills supporting ACC-wide efforts to improve understanding of Hāpai. Understanding of te ao Māori frameworks for measurement and outcomes. Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in public service. Ability to handle pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage tight deadlines Proven experience leading collaborative projects that improve service outcomes, ideally with a te ao Māori lens. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with wide range of audiences. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities | Ngā Haepapa Mahi Contribute and collaborate with the Hāpai development team to support all aspects of planning and delivery of Hāpai across ACC Lead the delivery of priority workstreams to support successful implementation of Hāpai Provide expert advice to ensure all aspects of Hāpai implementation are continually focused on the needs of our clients. Identify key risks and propose mitigation actions as the service grows including meeting demand, performance enhancement and futureproofing Work with leaders and key groups across ACC to ensure Hāpai is supported and sustainable Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand how we encourage higher uptake of services by understanding what services and treatments will meet the needs of clients. Act as an operational subject matter expert to support the wider organisation in relation to Hāpai.
