SUMMARY

We are looking for an enthusiastic Rehabilitation Assistant to support our client who has sustained a spinal cord injury.
Duties of the part time post will include supporting our client with his community-based rehabilitation regime, attending therapy sessions, and working with the multidisciplinary team.
Our client will also require support with transport accessing the community and attending medical/other appointments.
In addition to this, some support with domestic duties in the home, shopping and day-to-day activities will also be required.
Only applicants with a full UK license will be considered for the post as the successful candidate will need to drive our client’s wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Support with swimming/hydrotherapy may also be required and therefore applicants must be confident in water/swimming pool environment.
This is a part time position, and the successful candidate will work with our client on 3-4 weekdays (Monday-Friday).

20-25 hours weekly
