Responsibilities

Individual, family and group psychotherapeutic interventions primarily aimed at facilitating adaptation, emotional adjustment, quality of life and community reintegration
Provide interventions and treatment recommendations based in an understanding of psychological and social aspects of disability
Active participation in the dynamic team process providing consultation to physicians, therapy staff, nursing and other allied health professionals
Training and supervision of post-doctoral fellows. Teaching opportunities with PM&R residents, early career therapists (OT, PT, SLP) and other clinical staff also exist.
Additional clinical opportunities include working with limb loss, SCI or FND
