  • Department: Rehabilitation Services
  • Schedule: Day shift, 40hrs/wk, 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
  • Hospital: Columbia St. Mary’s - Ozaukee
  • Location: Mequon, WI

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
  • Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Affiliated Credentialing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Hearing and Speech Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.

  • Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manage staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
