This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating our rehabilitation services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery through the workers compensation or personal injury process. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor will manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.    What you will do:  Team Management:  * Supervise and mentor a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff. * Schedule, train, and evaluate team members, ensuring efficient and compassionate patient care.   Program Development:  * Assess patients' needs and create personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to their medical history, physical condition, and goals. * Collaborate with therapists to design and implement specialized treatment programs.   Quality Assurance:  * Maintain high standards of quality and safety in rehabilitation services. * Develop and enforce protocols and guidelines to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of rehabilitation programs.   Collaboration:  * Work closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients. * Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about the rehabilitation process.   Budget Management:  * Manage budgets, resources, and supplies related to rehabilitation services. * Make data-driven decisions to allocate resources effectively and optimize the delivery of services.   Documentation and Compliance:  * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' assessments, progress, and treatments. * Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements related to patient documentation and confidentiality. * A solid understanding of the workers’ compensation system (training provided) is essential to effectively guide patients through the process and support them throughout their recovery journey. This role may involve providing education and assistance in both individual and group settings.   Continuous Improvement:  * Stay updated with advancements in rehabilitation techniques and therapies. * Implement new methods, technologies, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs. * Assumes other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs.     Qualifications:  * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Services or related field. * Valid state license or certification in rehabilitation therapy (physical therapy, mental health therapy, trainers and wellness instructors, etc.). * Proven experience as a rehabilitation therapist, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. * Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically. * Solid understanding of rehabilitation therapies, techniques, and best practices. * Ability to assess patients' needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. * Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to healthcare and rehabilitation services. * Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare-related software. * Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. * Compassionate attitude and genuine concern for patients' well-being. * Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Compensation Range:  $92,000.00 to $135,000 Annually All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
