Description Rehabilitation Tech / Restorative AideJoin Cascadia Healthcare and be a FORCE for GOODPosition SummaryThe Rehabilitation Tech/Restorative Aide supports physical, occupational, and speech therapy services by assisting therapists, preparing treatment areas, transporting patients, and helping carry out restorative programs. This role plays a key part in maintaining residents’ functional abilities, promoting safety, and ensuring efficient therapy operations. As part of Cascadia Healthcare, you contribute to a mission-driven team committed to being a FORCE for GOOD in the lives of those we serve.Key Responsibilities Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks during treatment sessions, including patient setup, positioning, and equipment preparation. Transport patients to and from therapy sessions safely and efficiently. Maintain therapy spaces, including cleaning equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring a safe environment. Carry out restorative nursing programs as delegated, such as range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, transfers, and ADL support. Document restorative activities accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Monitor patient responses and promptly report changes to nursing or therapy staff. Support therapists with scheduling, filing, and basic administrative tasks as needed. Promote resident independence, dignity, and engagement in functional activities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with mobility. Ability to respond quickly and safely in patient-care situations. Schedule & Compensation Full-time or part-time positions available. Competitive pay based on experience. Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Previous experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or patient care preferred. Ability to safely assist with transfers, mobility, and physical tasks. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with older adults or individuals with disabilities. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must meet facility health, background, and training requirements.
