The Rehabilitation Technician (CNA Certified) plays a key role in supporting the rehabilitation department within our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This position requires an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York. The Rehab Technician (CNA) assists therapists and nursing staff by safely transporting residents to and from the rehab gym, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a smooth and efficient therapy schedule for all residents. Safely transport residents to and from scheduled therapy sessions and the rehab gym in absence of transporter Assist therapists (PT, OT, SLP) by preparing, cleaning, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment. Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and supported during transport and therapy The Rehabilitation Technician (CNA Certified) will communicate effectively with both therapy and nursing teams regarding resident schedules and needs. Maintain and restock therapy supplies and monitor equipment for safety and cleanliness. Support therapy documentation processes, including filing, organizing, and retrieving resident records. The Rehab Technician (CNA) may assist nursing staff as needed with resident care consistent with CNA duties. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or Rehab Manager. Requirements Must possess a current CNA certification in good standing in NYS Prior rehab tech experience a plus!
