More about our team St. Charles Health System is a 13-bed acute rehabilitation unit dedicated to helping patients who are recovering from various injuries or illnesses. In partnership with Lifepoint Rehabilitation, this facility provides 24 hours of nursing care and intensive inpatient therapy to provide an outstanding experience and quality outcomes for all of the patients we serve. How you'll contribute * Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital. * Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment. * Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment. * Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies. * Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department. * Other duties as assigned. What we’re looking for Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills: * High School diploma * CPR/BCLS Certification * Minimum six months experience in an acute or long term facility preferred. * Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for transporting, lifting, and repositioning patients within the facility and therapy gym. They also prepare patients for treatment, maintain equipment, and perform clerical duties for the therapy department.
