Essential Functions: Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness. Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention. Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards. Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: A Rehabilitation Manager should be proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy. Additional requirements include: Current state licensure/certification as RPT and/or Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BCLS certification. At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
