Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? If so, we have opportunities in our Reinstatement team.
Reporting to the Area Reinstatement Supervisor, you will be responsible for the permanent reinstatement of excavations in highways, footways and other hard paved areas.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
The ability to operate small plant, eg, pedestrian rollers, disc cutters, trench rammers and plate compactors.
You should also have knowledge of material specifications and laying procedures, as well as proven experience in blacktop reinstatement.
An NRWSA street works accreditation and a full clean driving licence are essential, while a 7.5t or 18t LGV license is preferred.
We are looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is confident, driven, self-motivated, well-organised, with good communication skills and a great team player.

As one of our Reinstatement Team Leaders based in Galmington, Taunton, you will be working with a team of Reinstators carrying out small and large reinstatements across the business.
This will include asphalt and white top work in footways and carriageways, along with repairing and replacing manhole frames and covers.
In this role, you will be responsible for making sure all work is completed in accordance with HAUC and the local Highway Authority, so attention to detail is a must.
You will also be required to work overtime, some weekends and nightshifts.
