Role Overview We are looking for a Reinsurance Specialist to support treaty and facultative reinsurance operations, regulatory submissions, and continuous process improvements. The role involves close coordination with internal teams (Actuarial, Underwriting, Risk Management, Data, and Claims) as well as external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reinsurance execution. Key Responsibilities • Treaty Reinsurance: Assist in treaty renewal packs, data gathering, EPI and projection factors, CAT exposure monitoring, and large loss updates. • Facultative Reinsurance: Prepare inward/outward reports, monitor accumulations and cession limits, and provide counterparty reporting. • Regulatory & Compliance: Support IC submissions and eDeclare transactions. • Continuous Improvement: Assist in automation of workflows, reporting enhancements, and process efficiency initiatives. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or actuarial/data roles preferred. • Strong analytical and coordination skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI, databases, or automation tools is an advantage. • Familiarity with reinsurance practices and regulatory requirements.
