Pro IS, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Technical Accountant. The successful candidate will support our clients with a variety of functions, some of which are listed below. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on different projects which could include technical accounting and claims operations. This position is remote in the USA but please note:

• Review client submissions to policy terms for accuracy, ensuring all required supporting documentation has been received.
• Accurately perform technical accounting and claims operational duties such as booking premiums and claims transactions and cash allocation activities.
• Perform credit control functions of reinsurance receivables/payables and related account reconciliations.
• Financial settlement with clients according to policy terms and agreements and timely management of overall cash flow.
• Work collaboratively with other functional areas (Underwriting, Claims, Finance) and clients to clarify and resolve queries, incorrect data, and missing information.
• Support ad-hoc projects as assigned
