Description
Description Pathway Bank is expanding to a full-service branch in Lexington, NE — and we’re looking for a relationship-driven professional to help grow our presence in the community. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, opening doors, and growing deposit relationships through trust, networking, and local engagement. Banking experience is helpful, but not required — we’re willing to train the right individual who brings strong people skills, sales aptitude, and a passion for helping businesses and individuals succeed. What You’ll Do: Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary advisor for business and personal banking clients, managing new and existing relationships by understanding their unique goals and recommending suitable financial products and services. Deposit Growth and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, community engagement, and networking. Develop and execute strategies to attract new deposits, expand existing relationships, and cross-sell complementary products and services. Financial Solutions and Advisory: Provide knowledgeable guidance on deposit structures, treasury management tools, and other non-credit banking services to help clients optimize their cash flow and meet their financial objectives. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—such as Operations, Frontline, and Marketing—to deliver seamless service, ensure client needs are met, and identify opportunities to enhance overall relationship value. Portfolio Management: Monitor the profitability and performance of assigned client portfolios, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures. Manage the non-credit risk for clients and enhance relationship profitability. Community Engagement: Represent Pathway Bank through active participation in local business and community events. Build visibility, foster trust, and strengthen the Bank’s reputation as a committed community partner. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the Bank’s mission and growth initiatives. Requirements Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in banking, business development, or customer relationship management. Required Skills and Abilities: Proven relationship-management and sales skills, with demonstrated success in deposit acquisition and client retention. Strong understanding of deposit products, treasury management, and other non-lending banking services. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in pursuing opportunities. Ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with banking software.
