You’re driven by a knack for building high-value relationships for your company and its clients. You understand B2B ideal customer profiles, business communications, and effective account-based lead generation. As a relationship developer, you will be an exceptional communicator and “million-dollar matchmaker” who sets and executes plan strategies, and works with internal and external teams while engaging with prospects to develop long-term relationships.

Relationship Developer– The Vx Way:

However, as our client roster expanded, our internal team remained relatively unchanged. In the coming year, we have ambitious plans to propel the Vx Group into exponential growth, and this is where your role becomes pivotal.
As a Vx Relationship Developer, you will be at the heart of our client relationships, serving as a driving force to ensure we engage with prospects to develop long-term relationships. Relationship Developers are responsible for proactively engaging a portfolio of relationships throughout various stages. You will be a master of establishing and tracking goals, creating ideal customer profiles, identifying and auditing prospect lists, and managing progress with clients.
You will communicate with clients regularly to develop high-value business relationships while at the same time working with the demand generation team to attract prospects that meet ideal customer profiles.
Your success will be dependent on a few things:

Expert at supporting the success of our growth plans and relationships, your practical “roll up your sleeves and get $%^# done” attitude and ability to ensure great relationships with clients will lead to long-term, high-value partnerships.

  • Your ability to create strong, positive relationships overall Vx cross-functional areas.
  • Creating transparent, accurate, and up-to-date KPI’s that are developed and monitored across client program portfolios to inform and drive operational excellence.
  • Having a clear vision and ability to execute client program sales processes to ultimately deliver on program growth goals.
  • Delivery of aligned goals and expert collaboration/communication with the Vx Demand Generation Studio resources.

Professional Requirements:

  • Proactively engage a portfolio of relationships at various stages across 6-10 client accounts.
  • Establish and track goals related to relationship development and upstream lead generation.
  • Create ideal customer profiles to guide inbound and outbound B2B lead generation campaigns.
  • Identify and audit prospect lists; validate targeting is accurate and delivering results aligned to goals.
  • Work with demand generation, creative, and Vx to attract target prospects who align with ideal customer profiles.
  • Effectively write correspondence to engage prospects.
  • Proactively manage pipelines to progress relationships through key milestones.
  • Directly communicate via video calls, phone, and email to qualify leads and develop high-value business relationships.
