OBJECTIVES: The Relationship Manager for Corporate/Commercial Banking is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored financial solutions that meet their business needs. This role involves maintaining close relationships with clients, understanding their objectives, and ensuring client satisfaction while driving revenue growth and profitability for the bank. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients. Identify new business opportunities within the existing client portfolio and scout for new clients. Provide customized financial solutions to clients by leveraging the bank’s products and services. Manage risk by ensuring credit applications are well-prepared and submitted for approval. Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior management and clients. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery for clients. Monitor industry trends to identify potential impacts on client portfolios. Achieve set financial targets for profitability, growth, and asset quality. Business development with a focus on expanding the bank’s market share. Academic Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Professional Certification in ACIB, ACCA, ICA or CFA is an added advantage Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking relationship management. Proven ability to manage client relationships and understand corporate financial needs. Skills / Specialized Know How: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Competencies: Results-oriented with a proactive approach. Strong ethical standards and confidentiality. Ability to understand and adapt to client needs.
