How it works As a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at OCBC Global Real Estate, you should have a good understanding of the global real estate markets not only in Singapore but across regions such as Australia, UK, US, Asia Pacific. You should have experience across asset classes: office, logistics, hospitality, retail and residential. A strong understanding of capital structures including senior debt, mezzanine, bonds, PERPs, etc. will be required and familiarity with cross border structuring. You should have a proven track record in managing institutional clients (corporates, developers, PEREs, etc). You would have the ability to originate and maintain long-term relationships, and skilled in stakeholder co-ordination across credit, legal, risk, operation and product teams. A high-touch client servicing with strong commercial judgement is a prerequisite. What you do Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 1. Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers 2. Conducting regular client reviews to understand their business needs and identify opportunities to provide tailored financial solutions 3. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as product specialists and credit analysts, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients 4. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling our products and services 5. Staying up-to-date on market trends and industry developments, and applying this knowledge to drive business growth Who you are - A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics - At least 7 years of experience in corporate banking, with a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders - Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the corporate banking landscape and the needs of our clients - Proactive and results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and driving business growth - You should have a forward-looking mindset with ability to anticipate client needs and market shifts. - You should possess strong negotiation skills with a focus on long term relationships rather than transactional engagement.
