A Relationship Manager at Iress plays a crucial role in managing and nurturing client relationships with our Buyside clients to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The purpose of this role typically includes but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement and Retention: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with Iress Buyside clients by understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Key Contact Point: Acting as the main point of contact for a subset of Iress Buyside clients, addressing their queries and concerns, and providing efficient resolution to issues to enhance the customer experience.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling and upselling Iress products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Gaining in-depth knowledge of the Iress suite of products and services to effectively communicate their benefits and features to clients.
  • Product and Service Feedback and Improvement: Gathering Buyside client feedback to identify areas for improvement, advocating for customer needs within the company, and contributing to the development of new products / features.
  • Market Analysis: Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, product support, professional services and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to client management and to drive overall business objectives.

  • Develop strong day-to-day relationships with clients to understand their overall strategy, challenges and priorities and where we can deliver solutions.
  • Regular proactive client engagement in line with a structured relationship management plan.
  • Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual company KPI’s that incorporate client retention, and revenue uplift from increased usage and the sale of additional solutions.
  • Manage commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients.
  • Responsible for managing revenue related client requests, ensuring all information to execute billing and licensing requests is prepared and authorised, and reviewing client invoices.
  • Key contact point for clients for all new projects, feature requests and escalation of issues.
  • Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions to the market by establishing clear adoption and account plans.
  • Proactively educate clients on new release functionality or features and benefits this brings to their business.
  • Work with clients to implement and ensure adoption of Iress products.
  • Effectively articulate Iress roadmaps, enhancements and upgrades to clients and users at all levels. Manages upgrade processes where required.
  • Is a point of escalation and information for client support teams and may be occasionally required to assist with support enquiries to ensure optimal client experience is maintained.
  • Maintain, update and use global CRM with accuracy and timeliness, record all material client and prospect interactions, and maintain an up-to-date opportunity pipeline at all times.

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience within the Financial Markets Industry.
  • Proven track record within an Account Management / Relationship Management role.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Buyside Industry practices, business environment and technology requirements.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and networking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate the client, competitors, industry landscapes and make recommendations to drive profitability and gain market share.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong team working ability, able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other Iress teams.
  • The ability to effectively work under pressure and to targets, ensuring that excellent service is delivered at all times.
