Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

We are partnering with a new entrant bank to the Australian market as they build out their Corporate Banking team in Sydney.

We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to originate and manage relationships with large corporate clients across the Australian market.

This is an opportunity to join a bank at an exciting stage of its Australian growth, with significant scope to develop new client relationships and contribute to the build-out of the corporate banking franchise.

The role:

• Originate new corporate banking relationships and identify opportunities across the market
• Develop and manage senior relationships with large Australian corporates
• Structure and execute corporate lending and broader banking opportunities
• Work closely with credit, product and other internal stakeholders to deliver solutions for clients
• Build a high-quality corporate portfolio and drive revenue growth
• Represent the bank in the market and establish its presence with key corporate clients

About you:

• 10+ years' experience in corporate banking or a closely related role
• Proven track record in corporate client origination and relationship management
• Strong existing network across large Australian corporate clients
• Experience structuring and executing corporate lending transactions
• Candidates from both Australian domestic banks and international/foreign banks will be considered
• Commercially minded with strong credit and financial analysis capability
• Confident engaging with senior executives, CFOs and other key decision-makers
